Abdallah Chatila : Il faut croire en ce que l’on fait et faire ce en quoi l’on croit.
Né en 1974 à Beyrouth, Abdallah Chatila fuit la guerre civile avec sa famille à l’âge de 2 ans. Après l’Italie et la France, la famille s’installe en Suisse en 1988. Diplômé en gemmologie, Abdallah Chatila rejoint en 1995 l’entreprise familiale de haute joaillerie à Genève. En 2006, il publie « The Diamond Niche », devenu un ouvrage de référence dans le domaine et deux ans plus tard, crée le premier fonds d’investissement en diamants.
Dès 2006, il entame une activité de promoteur immobilier et devient rapidement un acteur incontournable dans le canton de Genève. Il est aujourd’hui président et unique actionnaire de m3 Real Estate, une régie créée en 1950 et qu’il a contribué à positionner comme «banquier privé de l’immobilier». Il réalise ainsi des investissements dans les secteurs de l’immobilier résidentiel et commercial, de la restauration et, plus récemment, de l’hôtellerie. Avec la société Rachaya Holding qu’il fonde en 2007, Abdallah Chatila diversifie ses activités : industrie du diamant, art contemporain, santé, assurances ou nouvelles technologies. Il s’est même lancé depuis dans le négoce de caviar chinois.
Gemmologue, entrepreneur, investisseur mais également philanthrope, Abdallah Chatila crée en 2011 la fondation Sesam. Il soutient ainsi des projets éducatifs et socioculturels, à Genève pour l’essentiel mais également au Liban. Avec une fortune estimée en 2018 par le magazine Bilan à plus de 200 millions de CHF, Abdallah Chatila compte parmi les 300 plus riches de Suisse.

ترويقة في بيروت (2015) كامل – Breakfast in Beirut
« إنسوا كل ما شاهدتموه من أفلام لبنانية، وشاهدوا هذا الفيلم! ».. بهذه الكلمات تتركنا المخرجة فرح الهاشم قبل بدء عرض فيلمها (كما تصنفه) « ترويقة في بيروت ». جملة تحملها مسؤولية تجاه المشاهد، وتجاه المدينة، وتجاه السينما اللبنانية التي نسفتها بجملة واحدة، وتجاه المخرج الراحل مارون بغدادي الذي تهديه الفيلم في البداية. وفي المقابل تشعرك بأنك ستشاهد الفيلم الذي سيقلب موازين السينما اللبنانية في نظرك، ويريك بيروت، كما تقول هي، في شكل لم تره من قبل. فتتحمس لما تعتقد أنك ستراه، وتتأهب لأكثر من ساعة متعة.
The Story of Breakfast in Beirut ?
The story of Sarah revolves around two major parts in her life, a relationship with a city that came to her in a love relationship with a man name ziad.
Beirut. The city. has always suffered from a continuous struggle for finding stability and some how that part of Beirut has been contagious enough to affect its people– so everybody living in Beirut is striving to find that stability, but somehow it keeps getting lost.
In the middle of The Nightlife rush in Gemmayzeh, the red lights in Monot, The Busy bistros and cafes in Hamra street, the protests and political outbursts, gas prices inflation and electivity cut outs, Sarah escaped it.
She paused her life in Beirut. She Did not want to revive it again. She arrived to New York, to a big and crowded city that she can easily get lost in. she can easily erase everything and start from scratch.
True Story ?
Breakfast in Beirut is a series of memories from an inspired life story about a young woman who lost the only person that she found comfort and love with.
She was attached to him. he brought a certain magic to her life with his smile. Even though Beirut in 2005 – 2009 ‘s political crisis was a never ending crisis, but this young woman found Beirut to be the land of Dreams, the safest place on earth with her eternal love to him.
Sarah : Journalism and Beirut
Sarah is a journalist; Beirut ‘s love is scattered among words she types everyday on her typewriter or in the middle of the spilled ink on papers and photographs…
She captures bits and pieces of those memories and a magical Beirut when she snaps a photograph through her camera.
She always asked herself whether she was born to be a journalist or it happened by chance ?
« If i will be a journalist for the rest of my life, then who is going to tell my story ?. »

نشرت وزارة السياحة اللبنانية منشورات عن البلد والمدن ودليلاً للمسافرين بلغات مختلفة. العديد من المنشورات ليست حديثة جدًا ، ولكنها تحتوي على العديد من المقالات الشاملة حول التنوع الفريد للثقافة في لبنان. ولا تفوت قاعدة البيانات التي تحتوي على 12000 صورة.
Le ministère du Tourisme du Liban a publié des publications sur le pays, les villes et un guide pour les voyageurs dans différentes langues. Beaucoup de publications ne sont pas très à jour, mais contiennent de nombreux articles exhaustifs sur la diversité unique de la culture au Liban. Et ne ratez pas la banque de données qui contient 12000 images.
Lebanon Ministry of Tourism has some publications about the country, the cities and a guide for travelers in different languages. Many of the publications are not very updated but contains many intensive articles about the unique diversity of culture in Lebanon. And don’t miss the 12000 images database.
